    When a Severe Weather WARNING is issued by the NWS for Delaware County a Skywarn Net will be activated, we do appreciate both your timely reports and storm totals. Thank you for your participation and support of the Delco Skywarn Program.

REPORTING CRITERIA

IMPORTANT – PLEASE REPORT STORM TOTALS AT THE CONCLUSION OF EVERY EVENT 

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA REPORTING PARAMETERS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  • Tornadoes

  • Funnel Clouds

  • Wall Clouds

  • Winds in excess of 58 MPH

  • Hail of any size

  • Rain in excess of 1 inch per hour

  • Flooding

  • Coastal Flooding (Particularly if there is no watch or warning in effect)

  • Snow in excess of 4″ 

  • Any ice accumulation

  • Tsunami

Note: Lightning is not a reportable severe weather parameter but damage caused by it is reportable.
